Happy Lundi Gras aka Shrove Monday aka The Day Before Mardi Gras

Today, while all my friends are out acting a fool in New Orleans, or vegging out on the couch I'm sitting at work attempting to get things done for school while a monsoon is taking over outside. Now, we've got off school until Wednesday at 1:30, so I'll be making it worth my while. 

Now, don't get me wrong, if I wasn't at work I wouldn't be doing much else. You see, I love Mardi Gras, it's one of my favorite times of year, but I also was born and raised in southern Louisiana, going to every parade we could get to growing up. So if I have to skip one year, no skin off my nose (plus it's GOING to rain; this whole '60%' thing is just code for please still come down and party with us). Plus, I went down there Saturday (but more on that later). 

So for now, I leave you with my favorite performance from last nights awards...well one of them, because let's be honest. How can you pick just one?
